This global coronavirus pandemic is scary, overwhelming and really stressful for a lot of us. While I don’t know how things are going to unfold over the next few weeks or even months, I do want you to know I am here for you.
I also believe that if we can harness the power of social media we can get through this together.
Social media provides an incredible platform for us to share our talents, services and also provide support to one another, especially in times of need.
Recently I’ve received a lot of queries from business owners on how to deal with the current situation online and what they can be doing to connect with their customers/clients without being insensitive to the situation but still marketing their business.
To do my bit in all of this I’ve put together a small guide that provides the do’s and don’ts of marketing during a crisis, content ideas for your social pages and some measures you can take to fully utilise social media during this time when businesses need to be flexible.
My goal with this guide is to turn some of that fear and panic into calm, clarity and to give you tactical steps to go forward. Hopefully, it will give you some ideas on how to approach your communication online so that you can stay engaged with your audience while still remaining sensitive to the current situation.
In the meantime, please stay safe and take care of yourself!
